Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description

This role involves operating stand-up reach forklifts in a large, clean, and well-organized warehouse to support daily material handling, order fulfillment, and shipping operations. You will use RF scanners to pick, put away, and stage materials, load and unload trucks as needed, and assist in other warehouse tasks to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient movement of products.

• Operate stand-up reach forklifts safely and efficiently to handle pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Use RF scanners to accurately pick orders, verify product information, and complete putaway tasks.
• Stage materials and products for shipping, ensuring correct placement and organization in designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks as needed, following proper safety procedures and handling guidelines.
• Operate machinery to shrink wrap pallets for shipment, ensuring loads are secure and stable.
• Palletize products in a safe and organized manner to support storage, picking, and shipping activities.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as necessary, supporting team members and helping maintain smooth operations.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures to protect people, products, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and contribute to the overall organization of the facility.

• At least 6 months of experience operating a stand-up reach truck, including standing on the forklift while the forks raise and extend to retrieve pallets.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for picking orders, putaway, and inventory-related tasks.
• Hands-on experience with order picking in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate stand-up reach trucks safely and confidently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, staging, and shipping of products.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to established procedures.

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts in addition to stand-up reach trucks.
• Background in general warehouse operations, including palletizing, staging, and shrink wrapping pallets.
• Comfort working with technology such as RF scanners and other warehouse systems.
• Ability to work overtime on Saturdays and during the week when required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability in a warehouse environment.

You will work in a very large, clean, and well-lit warehouse that is highly organized and focused on safety and quality. This position follows a first-shift schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with opportunities for overtime on Saturdays and during the week as needed. You will regularly use stand-up reach forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet shrink-wrapping equipment in a structured, professional warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Otsego, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Otsego,MN.
