About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Surgical nursing. License: Any active state RN or compact license accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Must-Have: - Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently. - Experience with the EPIC charting system. - Availability to work every other weekend and holiday. Description: Travelers must maintain a permanent address greater than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible to apply. The position is for Medical Surgical nursing. Shifts are Day shifts, scheduled as 3 days per week from 07:00 to 19:30. The daily patient ratio is typically 1 nurse to 5 patients, with a possible adjustment to 1:6 if necessary. The department uses navy blue scrubs and operates with an EPIC electronic medical records system. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy and pharmacy. The nursing staff may need to manage isolation precautions and IV therapy. The hospital has an active focus on providing quality medical care and strong community support.
