Job Summary:
The position is for a registered nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular at a healthcare facility located in Somerset, Kentucky. The role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac-related diagnoses, including STEMI, N-STEMI, PE, and cardiogenic shock. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of work. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 07/13/2026.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour days, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac intensive care units, proficiency in rhythm interpretation, and ability to assist with bedside procedures and drips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators (vents), Swan-Ganz catheters, balloon pumps, arterial lines, and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy).
• Additional Information:
  • Weekend hours rotate every other weekend, with 12-hour shifts.
  • Scheduled for 36 working hours with no additional on-call requirements.
  • May float to other units based on census.
  • Dress code includes royal blue scrubs; unacceptable attire includes open-toed shoes, jeans, sports clothing, spandex, Crocs with open areas, and offensive tattoos. Large hoops, barbells, and bull rings are prohibited.
