Job Posting: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Analyst (ANALYST II) – Department of Managed Health Care Salary: $6,031.00–$7,547.00 per month (minimum salary for new‑to‑state candidates). Work Location: Sacramento, CA. Telework: Hybrid (subject to Department telework policy). Responsibilities Under the direction of the Workforce Support Division Manager II, the DEIB Analyst will work closely with the DEIB Manager to plan, organize, and coordinate activities designed to advance department‑wide workplace equity and reduce disparities experienced by Californians served by DMHC. The role supports DEIB and workplace culture initiatives, partners with stakeholders across the organization to support employee engagement, training, and organizational effectiveness efforts. Minimum Requirements Level: ANALYST II Position classification and salary range as above. Minimum qualifications as specified in the Classification Specification (e.g., professional background, education, experience relevant to DEIB). Desirable Qualifications Experience independently conducting research, analyzing data, preparing reports with recommendations for program or organizational improvement. Experience preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, policies, procedures, or other written materials and/or delivering presentations. Experience gathering, evaluating, and interpreting workforce or organizational data to identify trends and support decision making. Experience supporting or implementing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), ADA, employee engagement, or related workplace initiatives. Knowledge of performance metrics, benchmarking, and program evaluation methods. Experience coordinating projects, work‑groups, or cross‑functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of training design, content development, facilitation, and adult learning principles. Experience supporting employee engagement activities including trainings, presentations, work‑groups, and organizational initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating effectively at all organizational levels, including leadership. Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools.
