Assistant Treasurer

Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred

Office-related technology skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Experience in district-utilized software preferred, including, but not limited to eFinance Plus and Bonefish

Understanding of governmental accounting standards preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work with confidential information

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Accounts payable
• Process/disburse purchase orders using the software adopted by the district
• Assists with the input of purchase requisitions
• Collects/maintains/processes information for timely and accurate payment of invoices
• Processes accounts payable checks, refund checks, and maintains electronic files
• Maintains vendor list/forms processing
• Maintains information for vendor 1099 processing
• Trains and supports building personnel with purchasing process
• Inputs purchase requisitions for miscellaneous state and federal grants, as assigned
• Maintains tracking process for administrative memberships, etc., including the processing of purchase requisitions
• Oversees tuition, professional development, travel, and mileage reimbursement processes
• Oversees ordering for the district
• Oversees access for web-based ordering/payment, such as Amazon
• Works with building personnel/administration and vendors to resolve accounts payable issues
• Handles inquiries from district employees regarding a wide variety of accounts payable issues
• Ensure budget guidelines and purchase procedures are followed in accordance with Board Policy, Ohio Revised Code (ORC), and negotiated agreements in consultation with the Treasurer
• Credit card management
• Accounts Receivable
• Oversees all accounts receivables invoicing
• Oversees the handling of accounts receivable by preparing bank deposits and ensuring all cash collection and deposit procedures are being followed

State and Federal background checks with no disqualifying events

Pay per administrative salary schedule
