Position Overview

We are seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to support various specialties including Interventional Cardiology (IC), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro. This position requires commitment to weeknight and weekend on-call responsibilities.

Shift Details

Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
On-call Requirements: 2-hour call back minimum with 8 call days within a 4-week period. 1 call weekend required every 3-5 weeks, covering Friday through Monday.

Daily Responsibilities

Support daily caseload of approximately 15 cases.
Utilize various imaging and procedural equipment, including Philips imaging systems and Boston technologies.
Perform a variety of procedures, including but not limited to, TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman, and other interventions as part of the cath lab team.

Experience and Qualifications

Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in a related role.
Certifications: Must hold ACLS, ARRT, and BLS certifications.
Charting Experience: Any electronic charting system experience is acceptable.
Special Requirements: Must have ARRT certification.

Equipment and Technology

Experience with the following equipment is preferred:
- Philips imaging systems
- Philips Xper hemo system
- IVUS/IFR/FFR technologies
- OCT, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave devices

Patient Care Details

Patient Demographics: This role involves working with adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Facility Features: The unit includes 5 procedural rooms and features interdisciplinary support from various teams including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
