Travel Registered Nurse - Postpartum - Wichita, KS

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7PM - 7AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse with experience in postpartum care to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to mothers and their newborns in a busy postpartum unit.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess postpartum patients and their newborns
• Provide breastfeeding support and education
• Assist with procedures such as circumcisions
• Implement postpartum hemorrhage management protocols
• Conduct hypertension assessments and management
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care postpartum hospital experience
• BLS & NRP certifications required
• Preferred: High risk postpartum and Level 2 nursery experience
