Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse- $1960 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 2 years within the last 48 months (4 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of experience required in specialty. - At least 1 travel assignment required.

Unit Details: - Oncology unit includes 7th floor and outpatient areas; travelers work on the floor only. - Uses Meditech. - Charge nurse is out of the staffing grid unless unusual circumstances. - Central telemetry monitoring; not required to read strips. - Cares for patients with acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, and end-of-life care. - Outpatient area patients may come to the floor to finish treatment if running late and the outpatient area closes.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Holidays rotate with staff.

Floating Requirements: - Rarely floats to medical acute.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
