RN - ER Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting License: Active license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required for contract labor Must-Have: At least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications for contract labor Strong communication skills with patients and peers Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Dependability and punctuality Strong understanding of medical terminology Description:This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse specialized in the Emergency Department.The nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population with multiple comorbidities.Patients may include those experiencing trauma, stroke, sepsis, and complicated heart conditions.The unit includes a secure locked psychiatric area and utilizes flexible staffing to meet patient needs.Typical patient ratios are 4:1, with additional support during acute surges.The nurse will use various equipment, including ultrasound machines, IV skills, and infusion devices.The role requires motivation, hard work, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine desire to care for patients.Weekends may be required every other week for contract labor.No floating to other areas will be required for this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
