Controller

Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join its finance leadership team. Reporting to the CFO, this individual will oversee the accounting function and play an important role in supporting the continued growth and evolution of the organization. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing environment and bring a hands‑on leadership style. This person should be equally comfortable leading and developing a team, partnering with senior leadership, and getting into the details of the accounting operation when needed. Key Responsibilities Lead the day‑to‑day accounting and financial reporting functions. Manage the monthly and annual close processes. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting. Maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Provide financial analysis and insight to the CFO and senior leadership. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Partner with operational and cross‑functional leaders throughout the organization. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and overall efficiency. Support the annual audit and other accounting and finance initiatives. Maintain a hands‑on approach and assist with complex accounting matters and problem resolution as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA strongly preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Previous Controller, Assistant Controller, or comparable accounting leadership experience. Manufacturing industry experience required . Strong financial statement and month‑end close experience. Experience leading and developing an accounting team. Hands‑on leadership style with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced and evolving organization. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
