Lead Teller - Woodmore Towne Centre

Position Overview Lead Teller in PNC’s Retail Bank organization, based in Glenarden, Maryland. Support the Branch Manager in day‑to‑day teller operations and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Deliver a unique customer experience and promote customer financial wellbeing. Process a variety of customer interactions and maintain accurate transaction records. Educate customers on alternatives and options for managing financial transactions, leveraging technology. Identify banking opportunities during interactions and make appropriate referrals to branch staff. Engage customers in the lobby and position PNC products to meet their needs. Co‑coach, mentor, and lead tellers, demonstrating clear communication, transaction handling, and problem resolution processes. Assist the Branch Manager with performance management, new hire selection, and adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain teller and branch daily operations and ensure compliance with PNC policies. Qualifications Preferred skills: accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience, customer service, opportunity identification, technology leveraging, proactive sales, accuracy, detail orientation, problem solving, fraud detection, managing priorities, matrix management, effective communication. Experience: 1+ years of related experience; no degree required; comparable education, certification, or military service may be considered. Compensation Base salary $45,000.00 – $75,000.00, incentive eligible.
