Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical assessments and assessments of medical histories.
• Assist surgeons in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab reports.
• Work hand-in-hand with surgical teams to craft and implement tailored surgical care plans for patients.
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments.
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative patient care, including administering medications, providing wound care, and planning discharges with educational components.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical focus is strongly preferred.

Certification Requirements

• Active and unrestricted certification as a PA-C .
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are necessary.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
