Pest Control Technician

Job Overview We are looking for a hard‑working, innovative, detail‑oriented Pest Control Technician to join our Aptive team in Ashland, VA. This full‑time position offers hourly pay of $17.50–$20.50 plus uncapped bonuses, with the opportunity to work a local route and report to our Richmond, VA office once per week. Responsibilities Run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns and issues. Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order. Keep accurate records of treatments provided. Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws. Act as the subject‑matter expert by implementing the most efficient pest solution for each customer. Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures. Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of any issues encountered on service routes. Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use. Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs. Work schedule includes every other Saturday. Qualifications US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years. Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years). Will successfully pass a drug test and background check.
