Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Mesquite - Tucson, AZ 85705 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Diploma or GED Salary Range: $17.00 Hourly Job Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) Job Category: Health Care Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Responsibilities We are looking for a full time Medical Assistant to join our team! Under direct supervision, the MA will assist the provider with primary care duties, patient care (exams, procedures, blood draws, injections, patient education) and maintain efficient patient flow. The MA will also assist the provider by preparing patients for visits, collecting and recording necessary data for health, weight, medication and allergies. Responsibilities include performing miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones and maintaining the provider schedule. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Written and verifiable proof of completion of an accredited Medical Assistant certification program Must be at least 19 years of age Preferred: Must be 21 years of age Must possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Safety and Drug Screening This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
