Quick Facts Location: Eureka, CA Start Date: 11/01/2026 Duration: Approximately 1 month (extended or ongoing opportunities may be available) Shift: Clinic hours (8:30 am - 5 pm), Night/Weekend Call (5 pm - 8:30 am), 24-hour weekend call coverage Hours/week: 40 hours (plus on-call hours) Employment Type: Temporary/Locum Licensure: Active California medical license or IMLC, DEA required Experience: Board Certified in Neurosurgery; 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in neurosurgery; complex spine case experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Competitive hourly rate ($1.00/hr noted, but actual pay to be confirmed) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2), paid sick leave, and licensure/certification reimbursement Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care at a prominent facility in Eureka, CA Manage complex spine cases and perform elective and emergent surgeries Participate in clinic consultations and pre/post-operative patient management Be available for scheduled call coverage, including weeknight and weekend on-call shifts Ensure all procedures and documentation meet hospital privileges and credentialing standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient-centered care What You Need Required: Current unrestricted California medical license or IMLC DEA registration Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency) in Neurosurgery Fluoroscopy certification (full or temporary allowed) Proven experience with complex spine surgeries and case volume of 100 cases in the past 2 years Preferred: Strong clinical and surgical skills in neurosurgery Excellent communication and teamwork abilities About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare facility in Eureka, CA, renowned for excellence in neurosurgical care.
