Registered Nurse - Medical - Surgical (Pediatrics)

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Manage tracheostomy care, ventilator, and chest tube management
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Pulmonary Pediatrics experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• RN Licensure/Certification required
• Strong pediatric pulmonary experience required
• Comfortable caring for high-acuity trach, vent, and chest tube patients

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
• Experience with ventilator-dependent pediatric populations is highly preferred
