Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Manager in our Grimes, Iowa Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Showroom—our newest, state-of-the-art showroom in the region. Job Details Reports to the Market Branch Manager Showroom size: 10,000 sq ft (4,000 sq ft including office/clearance center) Direct oversight of 10 associates and lead for the customer service team Responsibilities Actively lead day-to-day showroom operations, including the Showroom team, collaboration with the Senior Showroom Manager and Showroom Operations Manager, to focus on showroom displays, the Clearance Center, revenue growth, margin enhancement, budget targets, and process improvement Maintain and develop a team through hiring, mentoring, training, scheduling, goals and expectations, and development Supervise daily showroom traffic with a wide range of customers to sell lighting, appliances, and high-end fixtures Handle budget processes, review and manage expenses Assist customers by appointment and walk-ins Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and be the first point of contact to address and resolve customer complaints Attend industry events and meetings to represent Ferguson locally Qualifications Prior sales leadership experience is ideal, with sales and customer service experience Proven track record to build and implement process improvements and efficiencies Ability to initiate and embrace change, mentoring skills, and desire to train others Ability to work across department lines, manage time and people Outstanding communication skills; verbal, written, and interpersonal Ability to listen to address problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions Experience in Plumbing Fixtures, Lighting and/or Appliance Retail Sales is a plus Ability to serve a diverse range of customers with varying levels of product knowledge Benefits and Compensation Ferguson cares for each other and offers a holistic approach to benefits plans supporting mental, physical, and financial well-being. Pay Range: $4,124.70 - $9,075.00 Estimated Ranges displayed are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
