Preconstruction ManagerLeads estimating and preconstruction from concept through award, providing cost analysis, constructability reviews, and project strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop estimates, budgets, and pricing strategies.Review plans and specifications for scope, constructability, and risk.Coordinate with clients, design teams, operations, and trade partners.Manage bid solicitation, subcontractor pricing, and proposal evaluation.Perform takeoffs, cost analysis, and estimate validation using OST and Excel.Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.Manage multiple pursuits and deadlines.Present budgets, estimates, and recommendations.Support project handoff and business development efforts.Requirements5+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or commercial construction.Experience with BuildingConnected, OST, and Excel.Commercial construction experience (industrial, office, retail, or TI).Strong plan-reading, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.Ability to build and maintain trade partner relationships.PreferredGeneral contractor or design-build experience.Experience presenting to clients and leadership.Trade experience with progression into estimating or preconstruction.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
