Job Description

The Operating Room Surgical Technician is responsible for assisting surgical teams in the operating room, ensuring the availability of sterile instruments and supplies, and promoting a safe environment for patients. The role demands a broad surgical knowledge with experience in various service lines, including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.
• Assist with positioning patients and preparing operating room equipment.
• Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in surgical procedures across various specialties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Broad surgical knowledge and experience in mentioned service lines.
• No specific certifications are required; relevant experience will be prioritized.
