TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Belleville, Illinois, 62226!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Pending License accepted: No Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: - Cardiac drip management experience required - Sheath pulls experience required - Central line management experience required - High-risk telemetry experience required Description: This position requires working 12-hour night shifts in telemetry. Staff ratios are 1:5-6. All candidates must be willing to work every other weekend and be expected to work 6 weekend shifts during a 6-week schedule. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. No on-call requirement for this role. Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs. All candidates must have high-risk telemetry experience. Experience with post-op open heart, sheath pull, and new tracheostomy management is required. Additional unit diagnoses include mixed medical cases with underlying heart conditions. Interdisciplinary support will be available from physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services, among others. Candidates must be able to utilize special equipment such as BiPAP and chest tubes. No local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius. All travelers must float within the service line. All planned time off must be finalized at the time of submission. No time off is allowed during the first week of the assignment. Compliance deadlines for documentation and requirements must be met prior to the start date. All required modules must be completed within specified timeframes.
