Corporate Jet Captain (Pilot-in-Command) - RTX Flight

The Mission

As Captain and final authority for each trip, you’ll ensure the highest levels of safety, professionalism, and service while transporting passengers, material, or positioning aircraft. You’ll apply exemplary airmanship, judgment, and Crew Resource Management in a dynamic VIP/corporate environment.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command on RTX Flight aircraft for passenger, material, and repositioning missions.


• Exercise final authority over each trip; maintain situational awareness and sound judgment in all phases of flight.


• Plan and execute flights in full compliance with FAA and ICAO regulations, company SOPs, and IS-BAO standards.


• Employ CRM best practices using checklists, instrumentation, crewmembers, and ATC to ensure safe, efficient operations.


• Maintain deep knowledge of aircraft systems, procedures, FARs, and meteorology; keep all required currencies and proficiencies.


• Model and monitor adherence to FAA and RTX Flight standards; provide positive, constructive feedback and coaching to crewmembers.


• Participate in company-sponsored training; implement and sustain IS-BAO processes.


• Ensure compliance with RTX and government EH&S and ethics policies.


• Support a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on customer needs.

What You Bring

• Certificates: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP). Accepted: ATP (Unrestricted) or ATP-R.


• Flight Time Minimums: 3,500+ total hours; 1,000+ PIC hours (in turbine-powered, fixed-wing, multi-engine aircraft); 1,000+ multi-engine hours.


• Technical Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in assigned aircraft; strong record of adherence to FAA regulations and company policies/procedures.


• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (typically required).


• Residency: Maintain primary residence within one hour’s driving distance of East Granby base.


• Travel Eligibility: Able to travel worldwide without restriction.


• Work Authorization: U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual). No security clearance required.


• Preferred: Strong decision-making in normal/abnormal/emergency conditions; excellent interpersonal skills; Corporate/VIP operations experience; proficiency with advanced flight deck avionics; operations in complex airspace/terminal environments; experience in the Falcon 2000EX-EASy.
