Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) - Raleigh, NC

Contract | 13 Weeks | Level 1 Trauma Experience Required | Local and Travel Rates Available

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a leading Level 1 Emergency Department in Raleigh, North Carolina. The RN will assume responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room or other emergent critical care areas.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment.

Position Details

• Shift Options:

• Days: 7a-7p

• Nights: 7p-7a

• Hours per Week: 36

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Start Date: June 1, 2026

• Charting System: Epic

Assignment Expectations

• Must be an experienced Level 1 ED nurse with 3-5+ years of emergency experience

• Must hold TNCC and ENPC prior to start

• Every other weekend required

• Flexibility to:

• Float to other ED locations

• Take one 12-hour on-call shift per 6-week schedule

• Work holidays as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License in state of practice

• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC (all required before starting)

• 3-5 years Level 1 ED

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
