Registered Nurse - Emergency

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department. The selected candidate will work 36 hours per week on rotating shifts, delivering high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage emergency situations and provide critical care as necessary.
• Document patient information and care in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-treatment care.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN License required upon start.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required before beginning the role.
• Previous experience in an emergency department setting preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
