About the Role
The Company is seeking a Trust Administrator to join its Global Trusts & Estates Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of trust accounts, including the proper set-up of account records, communication with beneficiaries and co-trustees, and the day-to-day management of accounts. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the trust and estates industry, a Bachelor's degree, and a strong understanding of fiduciary products and concepts, including legal, tax, and investment knowledge. The Trust Administrator will also be involved in risk management, client relationship management, and personal development and training. Key responsibilities for the Trust Administrator include working with the Account Opening Group to open trust accounts, responding to client issues, and handling ongoing account administration. The role demands a proactive approach to managing the account base, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in problem-solving, client servicing, and teamwork, and possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with trust accounting systems. Preferred qualifications include experience with the company's fiduciary platform and an advanced degree or industry certification in a related field.
