As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and designated restricted areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document activities, incidents, access-control issues, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
