Compassionate Home Care Aide Needed
ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team in Orinda, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need support to live safely and comfortably at home. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments or errands
- Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience as a home care aide, caregiver, CNA, or in a related caregiving role preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
- Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan with minimal supervision
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
