$18.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Role
We are a custom chiller manufacturer based in Hudson, FL, seeking a skilled and motivated Chiller / HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for building, installing, and servicing chillers and heat pump systems within our production facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Solder and braze copper fittings
- Cut and bend copper and titanium tubing
- Fabricate FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) skids
- Handle and work with refrigerants, including R-410A and R-407A
- Wire and program system controls
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and chiller systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and work records
- Utilize basic computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF
- Work independently and assist in leading or training team members as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in HVAC systems (required)
- Experience with chillers or heat pump systems (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Experience with brazing, piping, and fabrication
- Comfortable using computers and basic software
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Additional Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel for system startups (nationwide and international) preferred
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
