Looking for meaningful work supporting a teen in your community? Alora Supports is hiring a caring, reliable Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to a teenager in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a part-time opportunity offering approximately 6 hours per week during the late afternoon and early evening.
Schedule
Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays (Preferred schedule, but open to flexibility)
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Approximately 6 hours per week
Target Start Date: September 21st
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is caring, patient, dependable, and passionate about helping youth develop their daily life skills and independence. The primary focus for this program will be supporting the teen with personal hygiene and building their motivation to bathe.
Required Certifications
Medication Aide
CPR and First Aid
MANDT
Missing a certification? That's okay! Alora Supports will provide and fully pay for required training.
Additional Details
Omaha, NE
Approximately 6 hours per week
Late afternoon/early evening hours
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Paid training provided
Experience with IDD, personal hygiene support, youth/teens, caregiving, or DSP work is preferred but not required
