Job Summary

B&A is seeking a Database Administrator – Senior to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Human Resources Management (HRM) Applications Information Technology (IT) Sustainment Support effort. This is an off-site position with periodic support for meetings at HQ DLA facility. · Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 2 Option Years

Salary Range: $95,000–$165,000 annually.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed above. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, relevant experience, certifications, security clearance requirements, contract funding, and other applicable factors. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location

· Remote 

Note: The primary place of performance will be at the contractor’s place of performance and/or Off-Site. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at one of the following DLA sites: Dayton, OH; Columbus, OH; Tracy, CA; New Cumberland, PA; Richmond, VA; Battle Creek, MI; or Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

· Administer computerized databases; project long-range database administration/design requirements; design, create, and maintain client/server databases.

· Conduct database quality control/auditing; advise users on access; maintain complex databases, database dictionaries, standards/procedures, file design/storage, and systems integration.

· Perform database programming and support systems design, performance, security, backup, and tuning activities.

Education and Experience

· At least five (5) years of progressive experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and MS  Access.

· At least three (3) years of hands-on experience with Relational Database Management Systems.

· Experience with various operating systems and additional programming languages.

· Experience on at least two projects in a large organization administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.

Security Clearance / Investigation

· Active Top Secret clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years 

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Frequently operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email.
• Occasionally move about the office and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule with regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required.

Salary Range: $95,000–$165,000  annually.
