It also provides training needed to earn required certifications and understand workplace safety. As a PennDOT CDL Operator Trainee, you will perform the following duties:Equipment Training: Learn to operate heavy trucks, loaders, and related equipment safelyOperational Checks: Perform and document required inspections and make needed adjustmentsManual Labor Tasks: Use motorized and hand tools to complete maintenance workSafety Practices: Follow safety rules and report hazards, injuries, and equipment issuesEnvironmental Compliance: Apply environmental protection standards during maintenance activitiesAdditional Duties: Carry out other assigned tasks to support the maintenance crewInterested in learning more?
