Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager – USA to develop new business for Purplefield and related transformation services across the mid-market.

This is a quota-carrying hunter role , not an account-management position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying target accounts, prospecting, creating qualified opportunities, engaging executive stakeholders, coordinating demos and POCs, progressing proposals, and helping close business.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business across the USA for Purplefield and related accelerators
• Build and manage a named-account territory
• Conduct outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, phone, events, and referrals
• Engage CIOs, CTOs, SAP leaders, transformation executives, and business stakeholders
• Qualify customer needs and map them to the right Purplefield solution
• Coordinate discovery sessions, demos, assessments, and POCs
• Work with offshore GTM, presales, product, and delivery teams
• Develop proposals and support commercial negotiations
• Build partner and channel opportunities where relevant
• Represent McKinsol at customer meetings, SAP/industry events, and conferences
• Maintain disciplined CRM, pipeline, forecast, and follow-up
• Consistently meet or exceed annual quota

Ideal Candidate

• 3–8+ years of experience in enterprise software, SAP/ERP, SaaS, or technology consulting sales
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quota
• Strong hunter mentality with proven outbound prospecting experience
• Experience building pipeline from net-new accounts
• SAP / S/4HANA / enterprise transformation background highly preferred
• Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise customers
• Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and executive communication skills
• Ability to understand technical and business transformation concepts
• Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership of outcomes
• Willingness to travel across the USA

High-energy candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate a strong track record of sales achievement and new-business creation.
