Territory Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing relationships with architects, specification writers, general contractors, and other commercial building professionals within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional who enjoys building relationships, managing complex sales cycles, and delivering value-based solutions. This position requires frequent travel throughout the territory and ownership of the sales process from prospecting through project completion.

Responsibilities/skills:

• Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and territory objectives
• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
• Build relationships with architects, specification writers, general contractors, owners, and other commercial construction professionals
• Deliver in-person and virtual presentations demonstrating product value and differentiation
• Manage the complete sales cycle from project specification through project completion
• Maintain regular communication with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
• Develop territory plans and execute strategies to achieve sales goals
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
• Maintain customer activity and opportunities within the CRM system
• Prepare weekly reports and communicate market trends, customer feedback, and competitive information
• Collaborate with internal departments to support customer needs and drive successful project outcomes
• Travel throughout the assigned territory 34 days per week, including overnight travel as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• 35 years of outside sales or business development experience
• Experience selling into the commercial construction industry is preferred
• Experience working with architects, specification writers, or curtain wall/building envelope products is a plus
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently
• Experience using CRM software (HubSpot preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation:

Base Salary: $85,000k Uncapped commission First-year on-target earnings: $150,000$180,000 Monthly vehicle allowance: $650 Expense reimbursement Benefits 401(k) 401(k) Match Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Territory-based travel 34 days per week Overnight travel required as needed
