Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Job Description

What if you could keep surgery at the center of your veterinary career without sacrificing your time outside the hospital?

This opportunity in Southwest Washington could be a strong fit for a veterinarian who enjoys hands-on medicine, wants variety in their caseload, and values having colleagues to consult with along the way. You'll have room to contribute your surgical skills, strengthen your clinical interests, and help shape the services available to patients and clients.

What You'll Find Here

• A more manageable schedule: Enjoy a four-day work week, with no on-call responsibilities or after-hours emergency duties.
• Surgery that matters: Bring your soft tissue surgery experience to a role where surgical interest is genuinely valued.
• Variety beyond routine appointments: Combine general practice with dentistry, urgent care, and more involved medical cases.
• A team approach to medicine: Work alongside veterinary colleagues and trained support staff in a collaborative environment.
• Room to influence the future: Contribute ideas, develop clinical interests, and help expand the services offered to patients.
• A stronger overall package: Base salary plus production, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a small animal general practice with opportunities in wellness and preventive care, internal medicine, dermatology, senior pet care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care during regular business hours.

Diagnostic resources include digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory testing. The role suits a veterinarian who is comfortable performing routine soft tissue procedures and wants to continue developing surgical confidence and clinical range.

• A veterinarian who enjoys surgery and wants it to remain a meaningful part of their week.
• A clinician comfortable making decisions in urgent care situations.
