Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using telehealth or in-person modalities, depending on client needs.

• Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or various systemic family approaches.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with case managers, medical professionals, and peer support specialists to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate record-keeping and clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulatory guidelines.

• Participate actively in weekly clinical supervision, peer consultation groups, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and professional development.

• Foster a supportive and inclusive clinic culture that prioritizes mutual respect, clinician well-being, and the importance of creativity in therapeutic practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on a diverse client population, including individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses. You will work specifically with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, providing trauma-informed care and tailoring therapeutic approaches to be culturally responsive. Our clinic aims to serve underserved groups, understanding the unique challenges they face in mental health care, and you will play a key role in addressing their needs.

Qualifications\n

• Current LMFT license in the state of California; please note that only fully licensed candidates will be considered (no associate registrations).

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient or community mental health setting.

• A strong understanding of family systems theory and effective trauma-informed practices.

• Experience working with a diverse clientele, particularly those from historically marginalized communities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic health records, along with familiarity with Medi-Cal documentation standards.

• Advanced training or certifications in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR, is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000.00 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and the caseload you manage.
