Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Med/Surg RN - Night Shift/n/n Assignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) with every other weekend required. 3x12 schedules may also be considered. /n/nJob Description/n The Med/Surg RN will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on the management and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality patient outcomes. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide nursing care to patients on a Med/Surg unit. /n - Assess and monitor patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery. /n - Educate patients and families on disease management and care plans. /n - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic). /n - Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety protocols. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum of 3 years Med/Surg RN experience required. /n - Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start. /n - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required. /n - Travel experience is mandatory; first-time travelers will not be considered. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
