The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks:Manage day-to-day maintenance support operations, including creating and assigning work orders and following up with completionDirect, motivate and coach maintenance staff on multiple shiftsComply with OSHA regulations and guidelinesOversee maintenance for the grounds and facilitiesSupport and implement improvements in the plantSelect and supervise outside contractorsCommunicate with vendors and order maintenance inventory as needed, including entering purchase orders into an ERP and/or CMMS systemMaintain reports and communicate on the status of current and upcoming plant maintenance projectsProvide technical support for new equipment and production issuesCoordinate training related to maintenance and equipment safetyTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issuesOther tasks as assigned by plant managementCandidates must be able to communicate directly and effectively at all levels, be self-motivated, take initiative on projects, have excellent project management skills and enjoy being hands on as needed.
