• Schedule: Onsite overnight shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed; scheduled start October 5, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,250-$5,620
• Patient Volume: Approximately 22 adult inpatients per day, based on census
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner PowerChart

• Active Michigan physician license in hand
• Board certification
• At least 1 year of hospitalist or nocturnist physician experience
• Clinical expertise in Internal Medicine
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Active DEA registration or ability to provide verbal confirmation
• Availability for scheduled overnight coverage
• Ability to complete credentialing and privileging requirements

• Provide comprehensive overnight medical care for adult inpatients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Respond to changes in patient status and coordinate appropriate clinical interventions
• Collaborate with nursing staff, consultants, and daytime hospitalist teams
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and clinical progress in Cerner PowerChart
• Support safe transitions of care and clear communication during shift handoffs
• Practice in accordance with hospital protocols and applicable clinical standards
