Job Description Job Description Salary: $35.00-$45.0 per hour West Houston’s newest ABA therapy center is looking to fill an urgent need for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA). Facility’s core values are providing applied behavior analysis therapy for developmentally delayed, preschool-aged children. Their mission is to provide children who are diagnosed with certain disabilities to include Autism Spectrum Disorder with the socially significant skills they need to acclimate in a public-school setting, using BACB-approved and proven therapy techniques. Duties include: Observing and assessing the children under treatment. Developing and implementing treatment plans to address behavioral issues. Supporting the children throughout the treatment process. Communicating with patients' teachers, caregivers, and families to implement treatment plans. Monitoring and recording treatment progress. Conducting assessments to determine progress and milestones. Maintaining children's’ medical records and treatment reports. Collaborating with other healthcare specialists and support organizations. Skills/Experience: Board Certified Behavior Analyst qualification is essential. Proven experience of working directly with children with special needs. Strong working knowledge of behavioral theory and applied behavior analysis. Understanding of the characteristics and behaviors associated with disorders. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle intense emotional situations. Ability to apply behavioral principles. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Excellent stress management skills.
