Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Salary: Up to $150,000 A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its highly regarded Commercial Real Estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a sophisticated team on complex, high-value transactions in a flexible, hybrid environment. Position Overview The Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple transactions and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing and post-closing Review and analyze title commitments, title documents, surveys, and zoning materials Conduct and organize due diligence Prepare, draft, and revise transaction documents, including closing documents, loan documents, and correspondence Assist with pre-closing and post-closing processes to ensure timely completion Perform legal and factual research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis Interface with clients, lenders, title companies, and government agencies Record documents with appropriate jurisdictions Maintain organized files for complex, multi-state transactions Track and enter billable time in accordance with firm expectations Qualifications 6–10+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience (no residential) Strong experience with title and survey review, zoning, and due diligence Experience managing multi-state/out-of-state transactions strongly preferred Proven ability to handle full lifecycle of real estate deals independently Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred Hybrid schedule with strong flexibility Competitive compensation and bonus structure tied to billable hours Billable requirement around 1,400 hours, with incentives for higher productivity Occasional overtime or travel may be required based on deal activity This is a high-priority hire within a busy and growing practice group.
