JOB DESCRIPTION
Long County Probate and Magistrate Court will be seeking to fill a full‑time court clerk position. Resumes will be accepted beginning April 15, 2026.RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer the telephone Greet and serve the public File and record documents into the court records Maintain court records with accuracy and organization Provide copies Keep deadlines calendared accurately Assist during hearings Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Pass a criminal background check Have a high school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of computers, copy machines, postage meters, and telephone systems Type a minimum of 50 wpm Possess the ability to file, scan, and record documents Must have customer service experience and strong organizational skills with attention to detail Work well under pressure and meet deadlines Prior legal experience Must be able to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) #J-18808-Ljbffr WorksourceheartofgeorgiaVacancy posted 4 days ago
