Required Skills

\n
• Basic understanding of statistics and statistical analysis (not looking for an advanced statistician).
\n
• Experience using Excel for statistical or data analysis is required.
\n
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and control charts .
\n
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify both your own work and the work of others.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
\n
• Pharmaceutical or medical device experience
\n

Candidate Profile

\n
• Relatively entry-level position.
\n
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience preferred , but will consider candidates with less experience if they have applicable academic or internship experience.
\n
• Master's degree is not ideal due to the risk of being overqualified.
\n
• Preferred backgrounds include science, mathematics, quality, or data analysis , though a specific degree is not mandatory.
\n

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

\n
• Heavy focus on statistical analysis and data analytics involving product testing data.
\n
• Compile and analyze quality data.
\n
• Create charts, trend analyses, and statistical reports.
\n
• Prepare and present reports to internal stakeholders.
\n
• Verify data accuracy and review reports for quality and consistency.
\n

Preferred Technical Skills

\n
• Microsoft Excel (primary tool; VBA experience is a plus)
\n
• Minitab
\n
• JMP
\n
• Power BI (nice to have)
\n
• Experience troubleshooting or working with Excel macros is beneficial.
\n

Experience Expectations

\n
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant industry experience is preferred.
\n
• Internships, co-ops, or short-term industry contracts are viewed favorably.
\n
• Academic research involving statistical analysis, quality data, or similar analytical work may be accepted in place of industry experience.
\n
• Candidates with hands-on statistical or quality data analysis experience will be stronger than candidates who only have coursework or an associate degree.
\n
