Access Associate, Family Medicine (Full-Time, Days)

SUMMARY As an Access Associate, you will be responsible for many administrative support duties, such as greeting patients, performing check-in and check-out procedures and processing payments. This position requires a warm and inviting disposition, as you will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families. JOB TITLE: Access Associate LOCATION: Medina 100 Ohio Street Medina, NY Suite 2 DEPARTMENT: Family Medicine HOURS PER WEEK: Full-Time 40 hours/week SCHEDULE: Tues, Wed: 730a-5p, Mon, Thurs 745a-6p, Friday 745a-12p RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service. Manage incoming calls while providing necessary information; greeting patients providing direction as needed and scheduling patient appointments Registration & Verification. Complete the registration process for patients as defined by departmental policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary precertification/authorization when applicable Billing & Payments. Collect and process payments when applicable PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree preferred One year of customer service experience preferred. PAY RANGE: $17.85 - $20.00 CITY: Medina POSTAL CODE: 14103 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
