A little about the job....
- Registered Nurse (RN) performs functions of assessing; planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients.
- RN is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment.
- RN is responsible for promotion of collaboration with all members of health care team.
- RN Care Team Leader develops work plan and provides clear directions and expectations for care partner.
Qualifications for the job...
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of Alabama.
- Work requires three to six months orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department and unit policies, procedures and clinical guidelines.
- Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with patient and families, to elicit cooperation and allay apprehensions.
- Must possess analytical ability to synthesize knowledge of nursing theory and practice, assessment and planning activities, technical expertise and delegation skills to provide effective nursing care for assigned patients.
