Job Description

General Radiologist Remote Locum Tenens

We are seeking a Board Certified General Radiologist for a fully remote locum tenens assignment with a respected multispecialty group. This is a highly desirable weekday only role with no call, weekends, or holidays , offering predictable hours and a strong clinical support system.

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 8 9 hour shifts (starting at 8:00 AM)
• No call, no weekends, no holidays

Practice Setting

• Multispecialty group with outpatient focused imaging
• 7 radiologists on staff
• Nearly 100% adult patient population
• Average outpatient cases per day

Responsibilities

• Interpret a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies
• Modalities include:
• CT
• MRI
• X ray
• Ultrasound
• DEXA
• Perform general fluoroscopy procedures (if onsite), including:
• Esophagrams
• Upper GI studies

Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiology (ABR)
• Active Iowa medical license preferred
• Candidates with IMLC Letter of Qualification will be considered

Technology & Support

• EMR: Altera
• PACS/RIS systems in place
• Dedicated support team including:
• Department Director
• Modality Managers
• Lead Technologists

Additional Details

• Fully remote opportunity
• Travel arranged if onsite coverage is required (pre approved)
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
