Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 12-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Float to other units as facility needs require

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Florida licensure or eligibility required (AHCA compliance required for Florida placements)
• Minimum of 2 prior travel assignments as an RN
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby care
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• PALS certification required (may be obtained within 30 days of start date if not currently held)
• Ability to secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN certification (can be completed onsite if not already obtained)
• Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to float to additional units as needed
