Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Neuro night shift position in Maine, requiring an active ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Details

• Inpatient Med/Surg Ortho and Neuro unit setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend availability may be required upon request by the Department Manager or Supervisor
• 13-week contract
• On-call begins after 40 hours worked in a week
• Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July

Requirements

• Active Maine (ME) or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• MOAB or CPI certification preferred but not required
• Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills required
• Flexible availability required

Additional Information

• Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director, in accordance with Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a lower local pay rate
• Travelers may work no more than 2 consecutive 13-week assignments at this facility and must leave for a minimum of 26 weeks before returning for another temporary assignment
