JCMLiving is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee some of our premier apartment communities in Middlesex County, NJ . This leadership role is ideal for a motivated professional with a proven track record of maximizing property performance, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate is a strategic leader who is highly organized, technology-driven, financially focused, and passionate about creating thriving communities.

What You'll Do

As Senior Property Manager, you will:

• Lead all day-to-day operations of a market-rate apartment community
• Drive occupancy, leasing performance, and resident retention
• Oversee property financial performance, including budgeting, rent collections, and expense management
• Deliver exceptional resident service while effectively resolving concerns
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop leasing, office, and maintenance team members
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer service excellence
• Ensure the community is maintained to JCMLiving's high standards for curb appeal, cleanliness, and maintenance
• Oversee vendor relationships and capital improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and employees
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local municipalities, police, fire departments, and community organizations
• Analyze operational and financial reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of Property Manager experience , including leadership of market-rate multifamily communities
• Proven success in increasing occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operating expenses
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
