Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide counseling services from the comfort of your home while still being part of a vibrant team. You will also have the opportunity to meet clients in an outpatient office setting located in Edison when needed. You will engage in regular virtual meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and collaborate effectively with your colleagues.

  • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support client progress.

  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall care provided to clients, participating in case reviews and treatment planning.

  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary, utilizing your clinical judgment and training to manage urgent situations effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting a diverse population of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By addressing these concerns through tailored therapeutic approaches, you will help clients develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

  • An active New Jersey LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally within a therapy setting.

  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and healthcare professionals.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate tracking of client information and progress.

  • The ability to work independently while also being a proactive team member, contributing to a positive work culture.
