Position: Equipment Maintenance Mechanic Location: Gary, IN Pay: $31.00/hr Schedule: Day shift Recommended Experience: 1-3 Years Job Type: Full Time Responsibilities You will be servicing off road heavy diesel equipment such as front end loaders, dozers, hydraulic cranes and off‑highway trucks. Qualifications Must have 3 years experience as a heavy equipment mechanic. Candidates must possess excellent troubleshooting skills in hydraulics and electrical repair as it applies to heavy off‑road equipment. Candidates must be well versed in the repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered equipment. Strong technical problem solving based on expertise and experience, and a commitment to efficiently achieve high quality results is required. A thoughtful, persevering, self‑disciplined approach to achieving accurate, detailed work is essential. Must be able to successfully complete a background check and pre‑employment drug screen.
