Pest Control Technician Job Description:
We are looking for a Pest Control Technician to join our team at Downeast Pest Control. In this role, you will inspect properties, perform treatments, and provide excellent customer service to residential and commercial clients.
- Inspect homes and businesses for pest activity.
- Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively.
- Identify pest issues and recommend solutions.
- Educate customers on prevention and ongoing service plans.
- Maintain accurate service reports and records.
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships.
- Safely operate a company vehicle and equipment.
Pest Control Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous pest control experience.
- State pest control license (or willingness to obtain).
- Sales or upselling experience.
